#27 Horns Outty Exercise

Appropriate gaits: Walk, Trot


Follow the diagram in walk and trot. Cones are helpful.

Repeat: 4 x per gait.

Focus: Smooth change of direction (flexion then bend) in the horns.

Focus: Steady rhythm

Focus: Straightness

Focus: Deep corners with preparatory half-halts.

Tip: If you lose the shoulder during your turn, perform an immediate circle in the opposite direction.


Good for: Flexion, straightness, bend
